Paul Lake, founder, Executive Director and Chairman of the board of Search One Rescue, was the speaker for our March meeting and he gave a phenomenal presentation. Not only did he present us with interesting information about dogs and the different types of search dogs they work with, he also explained the different types of searches that this completely volunteer organization have been involved in for the past 39 years. With his expert knowledge and wry wit, the entire audience was enthralled by his talk. Colbie, Paul's daughter was also present and helped handle Paul's two beautiful search and rescue dogs, Bolt, the black German Shepherd and Goose, the Golden Retriever/Lab Mix. Both dogs were so friendly, outgoing and ready to play that was hard to believe they are hard working dogs who help find missing people. The club presented Paul with a donation of $50 for Search One Rescue but if you would like to donate to this valuable organization, CLICK HERE.
